Today I learnt that Pope Francis died after a long illness.
A little known fact about the Holy Father, is that he used to be a nightclub bouncer before he took holy orders.
In fact, strange things can happen in nightclubs. Even mystical things.
A friend is researching, about, fifty years of SGI (a lay buddhist organisation) being practiced in Devon. He has uncovered some interesting information. In fact some, if not the first, Nichiren Buddhists to practice in Devon, met and practiced in Union Street Plymouth in a nightclub.
So the next time a bouncer will not let you into a club, or has you in a headlock. Think, the bouncer might become Pope, or might become a buddha in their own lifetime.
